Abstract

Motivation is one of the essential elements required in the implementation of learning. One effort to ensure this element is present in learning is through the selection of appropriate learning media. This study aims to analyze the implementation of puzzle media to enhance motivation in memorizing Hadith for the Al-Quran Hadith subject in class VIII J at MTs. Manbail Futuh. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of the study show that the use of puzzle media in learning in cycles I and II led to an improvement in students' memorization achievements from 75% to 90%. However, overall, while puzzle media can ensure students are motivated to memorize Hadith, it does not optimally drive the results of students' memorization achievements. The memorization achievements of students can be specifically enhanced through the use of specific memorization techniques.
