All manuscripts submitted to JIEF: Journal of Islamic Educational Futures undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript's subject area. The review process focuses on the originality, significance, methodological rigor, theoretical contribution, clarity of presentation, ethical standards, and relevance to the journal's focus and scope.

Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations while maintaining the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts. They should identify strengths and weaknesses, offer recommendations for improvement, and disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may affect their impartiality. Manuscripts are assessed solely on their academic merit without discrimination based on the authors' nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, religion, or political beliefs.

Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief has the final authority to make one of the following editorial decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject. In cases where reviewers provide substantially conflicting recommendations, the editor may invite an additional reviewer to ensure a fair and balanced evaluation. The editorial decision is based on the quality, originality, scientific contribution, and compliance of the manuscript with the ethical and publication standards of JIEF.
