Focus and Scope

Journal of Social Transformation and Community Engagement (JSTCE) is an interdisciplinary scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research and practice in community engagement, community-based development, and social transformation. The journal publishes original research articles, community engagement reports, and evidence-based studies that examine how academic knowledge, community participation, social innovation, and collaborative interventions contribute to sustainable social change.

JSTCE particularly welcomes studies that move beyond descriptions of community service activities and demonstrate meaningful processes, outcomes, innovations, and transformations within communities. The journal emphasizes participatory approaches that position communities as active partners in identifying problems, designing solutions, implementing interventions, and evaluating social change.
