Author Guidelines
Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to the Journal of Islamic Pedagogical Innovation (JIPI) are required to follow these guidelines carefully. Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal's formatting and submission requirements may be returned for revision before entering the peer-review process.
1. General Requirements

Manuscripts must present original research, literature reviews, or conceptual papers that fall within the scope of JIPI.

The manuscript must not have been published previously or be under consideration by another journal.

The manuscript should be written in clear and grammatically correct English.
-
Authors should prepare the manuscript using the official JIPI article template.
2. Manuscript Structure
The manuscript should be organized in the following order:

Author(s) and Affiliation(s)

Abstract
-
Keywords (3–5 keywords)
-
Introduction
-
Methods
-
Findings and Discussion
-
Conclusion
-
Acknowledgments (optional)

Conflicts of Interest

3. Title
-
The title should be concise, informative, and reflect the content of the article.

The title should not exceed 20 words.
4. Author Information
Provide the following information for each author:

Full name (without academic titles)
-
Institutional affiliation
-
Email address
-
Identify one corresponding author with a valid email address.
5. Abstract
The abstract should be written in one paragraph and should not exceed 250 words. It should briefly include:

Background
-
Purpose of the study
-
Methods
-
Main findings
-
Conclusions
Do not include references, tables, or figures in the abstract.
6. Keywords
Provide three to five keywords that accurately represent the main topics of the manuscript. Keywords should be written in lowercase except for proper nouns.
7. Introduction
The introduction should:

Explain the research background and significance.
-
Present current issues and relevant literature.
-
Identify research gaps.
-
State the objectives of the study.
-
Cite recent and relevant references.
8. Methods
The methods section should clearly describe:

Research approach and design.
-
Participants or research subjects.
-
Instruments and materials.
-
Data collection procedures.
-
Data analysis techniques.
-
Ethical considerations (if applicable).
9. Findings and Discussion
Present findings clearly and support them with appropriate data. The discussion should:

Interpret the findings.
-
Compare results with previous studies.
-
Explain theoretical and practical implications.
-
Address the research questions or objectives.
-
Discuss limitations and possible future research directions where appropriate.
Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively, cited in the text, and placed close to their first citation.
10. Conclusion
The conclusion should:

Answer the research objectives.
-
Summarize the principal findings.
-
Highlight the contribution of the study.
-
Provide recommendations or future research directions.
Avoid repeating the discussion or abstract.
11. Acknowledgments (Optional)
Authors may acknowledge individuals, institutions, or funding agencies that contributed to the research but do not qualify for authorship.
12. Conflicts of Interest
Authors must declare any potential conflicts of interest. If there are none, include the following statement:
"The authors declare no conflict of interest."
13. References
JIPI adopts the APA Style (7th Edition) for citations and references.
Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote, or Reference Manager.
References should meet the following requirements:

At least 80% should be journal articles, conference proceedings, or research reports.

At least 80% of the references should have been published within the last five years.
-
Every in-text citation must appear in the reference list, and vice versa.
14. Formatting

Use the official JIPI manuscript template.
-
Follow the formatting for headings, tables, figures, equations, and references provided in the template.
-
Ensure all figures and tables are clearly labeled and cited in the manuscript.
-
Mathematical equations, if any, should be numbered consecutively.
15. Submission
Manuscripts should be submitted through the JIPI Online Journal System (OJS). Before submission, authors should ensure that:

The manuscript follows the journal template.
-
Similarity has been checked according to the journal's plagiarism policy.
-
All required metadata have been completed.
-
The manuscript has been proofread carefully before submission.
