Editorial Policies
The Journal of Islamic Pedagogical Innovation (JIPI) is committed to publishing high-quality scholarly works that align with the journal's Focus and Scope. Manuscripts submitted to JIPI must demonstrate originality, scientific merit, methodological rigor, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in Islamic education, pedagogical innovation, educational technology, curriculum development, teacher education, learning sciences, and other related interdisciplinary fields as outlined in the journal's Focus and Scope.
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance to the journal's Focus and Scope, compliance with the Author Guidelines, originality, and overall academic quality. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be declined before entering the peer-review process. JIPI implements a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Each eligible manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers based on originality, significance, methodological quality, clarity of presentation, ethical standards, and contribution to the field.
The editorial team adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and is committed to maintaining fairness, transparency, confidentiality, and academic integrity throughout the editorial process. Any allegation of plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, citation manipulation, or other forms of publication misconduct will be handled in accordance with COPE guidelines.
The final decision regarding the acceptance, revision, or rejection of a manuscript rests with the Editor-in-Chief, taking into account the recommendations of reviewers and the Editorial Board. Editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of the manuscript's scholarly quality and relevance to the journal's Focus and Scope, without discrimination based on nationality, gender, institutional affiliation, ethnicity, religion, or political beliefs.
JIPI is an open-access journal that publishes articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), ensuring that published research is freely accessible and can be shared and reused with appropriate attribution.
